After opening the season 2-1, the Hawks fell to 3 of the area’s toughest opponents by a combined 24 points before getting a 54-6 victory over Bolivar and a season concluding win over South Gibson to finish 4-6 on the season. The 2024 Jackson South Side Hawks didn’t clinch a playoff spot, but they certainly showed heart, improvement, and flashes of brilliance. With three convincing wins and tight defeats, the foundation is there.
